Our ‘Journey of Search and Research’ yielded all the desirable fruits! A part of the ‘Search’ was soul searching but the most important part of the ‘Search’ was search of ‘friends and partnerships’. PhD Foriegn Scholarships

Applications under Higher Education Commission Funded project are invited from candidates possessing medical or health professional qualifications after 16 years of education, duly recognized by relevant statutory regulatory bodies of the country i.e. Pakistan Medical & Dental Council / Pakistan Nursing Council and Higher Education Commission in the following disciplines for the grant of scholarships for pursuing higher studies leading to the award of PhD degree in the HEC identified world top ranked discipline wise Universities:-

Vice Chancellor Greets the Conquerors

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Hafizullah has greeted the Victorious Pakistan team on winning the T20 World Cup. In a message of felicitation , the honourable Vice Chancellor said that The Champion team through their hard work and committment has won hearts of the Nation and given them something very precious to cheer about. He added that the degree of committment which the team showed during the World Cup was exemplary and our students should exhibit the same when it comes to their studies.He expressed his immense pleasure on the performance of the whole team especially the brave sons of the province(Younis Khan,Shahid Afridi and Umar Gul) .

Two days workshop on Development of MCQs and SEQs

A two days workshop on development of MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) and SEQs (Short Essay Questions) was held here in the Committee room of KMU. Attendants of the workshop gained valuable ideas and knowledge regarding scoring strategies for short essay questions, enlisting various types of assessment tools for cognitive domain, differentiating between one best and one correct MCQ and writing extended matching questions. Higher Education Commission (HEC) has approved twenty scholarships for KMU in the Basic Medical Sciences discipline to strengthen the so for neglected area of Medical Education. It was shared by Prof. Hafiz ullah Vice Chancellor Khyber Medical University Peshawar (KMU) while chairing a high level meeting of the principals of public Sector Medical & Dental colleges of NWFP here at KMU Peshawar.

KMU Syndicate Approves Estimated Budget of Rs. 386.111.00 million

Prof. Dr. Hafizullah Vice Chancellor Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar has been elected as member of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council by the syndicate of KMU.
