Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar is the first Public Sector Medical University in North West Frontier Province, established through an Act of law on 13th Jan, 2007 with jurisdiction on the entire province including Federally Administered Tribal Areas, on all institutions of health sciences, including Medical/Dental colleges recognized by PMDC as constituent institutions.
The KMU mission is “Service to humanity” by striving for excellence in medical education and research, providing medical students with state of the art knowledge, skills and attitude to deliver the highest standards of health care for the people”.
