KMU announced MBBS 3rd Professional Annual Exam 2011 Results
Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar announced MBBS Third Professional Annual Examinations 2011 results. In the said exam total 895 students of nine Public and Private sector medical colleges of the province were appeared in which 477 declared successful. The overall passing ratio was 53 percent.
According to a gazette notification issued by Examination Section of the University Saeed Ali S/O Khurshid Ali of Khyber Medical College Peshawar secured 479 marks and stood first in the overall result however Waqar Zafar S/O Zafar Ishaque and Sabah Safdar D/O Safdar Ali of Ayub Medical College secured 467 and 450 marks and got second and third positions respectively.
In the MBBS third professional annual examination 2011 the passing ratio of Khyber Medical College Peshawar was 74%, while that of Ayub Medical College Abbottabad was 53%, Gomal Medical College D.I.Khan was 68%, Khyber Girls Medical College Peshawar was 63%, Saidu Medical College Swat was 51%, KMU Institute of Medical Sciences Kohat was 46%, Bannu Medical College Bannu was 41%, Women Medical College Abbotabad was 35% and Abbotabad International Medical College Abbotabad was 07 percent.
Vice Chancellor KMU Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hafiz Ullah has congratulated all the successful students and wished that they will also continue their efforts for obtaining brilliant results in the upcoming examinations. He also appreciated the efforts carried out by the Examination Section of the University for ensuring standardization, transparency and introducing modern techniques of evaluation. He hoped that Examination Section will not compromise on merit and it would continues its hard work for the betterment and enhancement of the under graduate medical examination system.
