Welcome to the Postgraduate College of Nursing. On behalf of the faculty and staff, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you well at this higher stage of education. Postgraduate College of Nursing has much to offer academically and socially, and I hope that you will take maximum advantage of the opportunities during your stay in this college.

Nursing is a profession in which the practitioner applies knowledge and skill in provision of preventive, curative, promotive and rehabilitative health services to the individuals, families and communities. As you all know, God gives life and nurses help in its preservation. This is an honour and a privilege. It is the moral obligation of each nurse to prove her/ his self-worthy of it.

The degree programs will also be very exciting for the college as a whole. Achievement comes through knowledge and knowledge come thought education. Therefore the Institution is endeavouring to expand its disciplines. Post RN BSc Nursing degree, and 4 year BSc Nursing programs are initiated by affiliation with Khyber Medical University Peshawar, in 2009. You have come here to acquire knowledge. A lot will depend upon you. We can help you learn only. Success is always followed by hard work and dedication. We wish you a successful and bright future.
