Khyber Medical University believes in developing a multi-dimensional comprehensive health care approach encompassing all the four elements of health i.e. prevention, promotion, curative intervention and rehabilitation.  We aspire to include a health care team approach at all levels of health care delivery for a comprehensive health care delivery system.

Nurse to patient ratio in Pakistan is one of the lowest in the world. Nursing profession has been ignored for too long. Concerted efforts are required to fill in this gap. More importantly, nurses need to be armed with the latest knowledge, necessary skill and humanistic attitude. This is only possible through dynamic, relevant, comprehensive, evidence and outcome based curricula that accommodate healthy extracurricular, literary and cultural activities.

KMU believes in promoting and enhancing the level of Education in Nursing and Allied Health Sciences.
